How do you help those that won’t admit they need help?

This project started with the realization of a problem in offering compassionate outreach services in the Inverclyde during the Covid-19 crisis:

People - and elderly men in particular - are too proud to pick up the phone and ask for help - even though they genuinely need it.

There’s a sense of “somebody else will need help more than I do - I’ll be ok.”
